Pentland Brands is a global family business bringing some of the most loved active and footwear brands to millions of people around the world.
They own a number of leading brands including Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury of New Zealand, Endura and Mitre.
Speedo’s V-Class goggles are a new, premium range of swimming goggles, combining performance with style. There are two styles available, Vue and Virtue. Virue has balanced and poised styling and is for smaller faces while the more aggressively styled Vue has a better fit for larger face.
We’re extremely proud to have worked with the talented Speedo Aqualab and Design teams to assist with the product design and development of these goggles. Our Mechanical Engineers converted the design to be suitable for manufacture, ran simulations to check the strength, performance and suitability for injection moulding, developed the lens optics with minimal distortion, worked with the supplier to achieve outstanding quality and subjected the goggles to rigorous physical testing to ensure the customers have a robust and long lasting pair of goggles.
These goggles are a real team effort between many partners in many different countries and because of their uncompromising style, performance and quality, they won a Red Dot Award for Design and Innovation in 2017.
